Your in-office visit
Candidacy is decided by measurements, not video. Plan about an hour for your VIP consult in Beverly Hills or Westlake Village. You meet Dr. Khanna again to review your results and your treatment plan.
Candidacy scans include autorefraction, pachymetry (corneal thickness) and topography (corneal mapping). For PIE, testing may also include a lensometer reading of your glasses and an OCT scan of the macula.
The VIP consult is a surgery consultation, not a comprehensive eye exam, and it does not include dilation or take-home reports. If you want a comprehensive exam with dilation and take-home findings, that is the $395 VIP lifestyle exam (self-pay only).

Can a video visit tell me if I’m a candidate?
Not by itself. Candidacy depends on corneal and eye measurements taken in the office at your VIP consult.
Is the VIP consult an eye exam?
No. It is a surgery consultation focused on candidacy. A comprehensive exam with dilation is the $395 VIP lifestyle exam.
