Your journey
Your first visit
Reviewed by Rajesh Khanna, MD
Plan about an hour. Here’s the flow, and what to bring.
Typical visit flow
Before you arrive
Fill in the new consult form we send you by text or email. If you don’t get to it, we complete it with you at your visit. If you wear contact lenses, ask whether to pause them before measurements.
Check-in
We confirm your information and ID and review your medications and health history.
Diagnostics
Imaging and measurements map your cornea, lens and eye surface. This data decides candidacy and your personal plan.
Your consult with Dr. Khanna
You talk through goals, lifestyle, risks, benefits and alternatives, and leave knowing whether you’re a strong candidate.
After the visit
Free VIP consults do not include dilation. If your visit is a VIP lifestyle exam ($395) with dilation, bring sunglasses and expect temporary near blur. We outline next steps, pricing and financing.
What to bring
- Photo ID and your medical insurance card, if you have one (we accept PPO plans only)
- A list of your medications and eye drops
- Your glasses, and your contact lens prescription or boxes
- Sunglasses, in case your eyes are dilated
- Your questions, written down
