- Severe or increasing eye pain
- A sudden drop in vision or new blur
- Flashes, many new floaters, or a curtain-like shadow
- Chemical exposure or a significant injury to the eye
- Redness that keeps getting worse, with light sensitivity
Usually normal early on
- Mild dryness or a gritty feeling
- Short-term light sensitivity
- Halos or glare at night in the first weeks
- Vision that fluctuates while you heal
