The Advantages of SUPERLASIK

SUPERLASIK (also called Epi-LASIK) is an advanced form of LASIK with slightly different benefits. The main advantage of SUPERLASIK is that it creates an extremely thin epithelial flap on the upper layers of your cornea – thinner than the corneal flap that is typically created in a LASIK procedure.

This allows patients who have thin or irregular corneas to benefit from laser vision correction. Many patients who are not candidates for LASIK may be excellent candidates for the SUPERLASIK procedure.
