An exciting new refractive procedure called conductive keratoplasty, or CK for short, is a laserless way to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses and contacts in patients who are farsighted or presbyopic (poor vision due to aging). CK, referred to as Blended Vision if performed on one eye, corrects your refractive error by using radio frequency energy to steepen the cornea so that light focuses on the retina properly. Near Vision CK/Blended Vision

NearVision CK , also referred to as Blended Vision, can treat presbyopia with the monovision technique by performing the CK technique on one eye. Near Vision CK improves your ability to focus on near objects without dramatically affecting distance vision in the treated eye. The result is referred to as blended vision, because you use both eyes to see at all distances, and one eye is "multifocal", giving you the ability to focus seamlessly between near and far distances.
