People with vision problems have new choices to make

BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers EYES ON THE JOB- Dr. Rajesh Khanna adjusts the VISX Star 4 laser with wavefront technology as a girl undergoes a trial run preparing for surgery to correct her vision. The average cost to correct an adult's vision is about $4,000.
With more than a million people signing up for Lasik surgery in the United States every year, it's clear people are tired of toting their glasses or popping in their contacts every morning. But the truth is, not everyone is cut out for the surgery.

"Lasik is the common buzz word now," said Dr. Rajesh Khanna, a Westlake Village eye surgeon. "People know that it's going to be able to help them remove contact lenses and see better, but not everybody is a candidate. We have to be careful."

Too Short For LASIK ?

As a child at a amusement park do remember waiting in a long line
just to be told "you are to short for this ride"... what a disappointment huh.
So you are stuck eating that weird cotton candy and just watching, no fun !
LASIK used to be this way, well not any longer, Dr. Khanna has the latest in technology
in has help people that have been turned down at other centers, and has broaden the spectrum with the technique of SUPERLASIK and Presbyopic Impant Surgery
And if you are truly not a good candidate for LASIK, and tired of just watching lets try again. Just like at the park they are plenty of options for you.
