Go Lions

Khannas eye in sky.

Helicopter flies in during the Lion's home game against Oak Park High School. Lions as you know is the football team of Oaks Christian School. The Khanna Institute is a community partner of the school.

Fire

Santa Clarita Valley is a very nice calm area to live in. Nothing major has occurred here before until Sunday, October 20th. Many different cities were burning due to fires caused by the strong winds. There were 4 fires just in the city of Santa Clarita. These cities are Canyon Country, Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, and Sand Canyon. All areas had many residents evacuate their homes. This was a very scary sight. Any direction one was to look in all you could see was dark heavy smoke. It was nearly impossible to breath. From certain areas every direction you were to look, one would be able to see the actual flames from the fires. It was even possible to see homes that were on fire. Each fire burnt thousands of acres. All the thick smoke, ashes, and wind made it nearly impossible to see.
Wearing contacts at this time was very uncomfortable. My contacts became very dry and irritating. I didn’t want to take them off because I did not know where my glasses were, and I didn’t have much time to look for them. I then realized I should get lasik surgery done. Although one can never be prepared for an emergency or an event like this one, it would be one less thing to worry about. I would request Dr. Khanna to give a rebate to all people affected by the fires in Los angeles and surrounding areas.

LASIK surgery is very beneficial and in most cases a painless procedure. The procedure itself is only about 4 to 5 minutes. At Khanna Institute we strive to make it as comfortable as possible for each of our patients. We make all patients feel our office. There is always someone at the front desk to greet and help the patient. Once everything is ready for surgery the patient is taken back and prepared for their LASIK surgery. When in surgery the patients family or friend can watch all of the surgery through the window. After the LASIK surgery the surgeon checks each eye to make sure the patient is fine. Then the post up instructions are given. The patient then is free to go, but will come back the next day for a follow up. Patients are always satisfied with their noticeable improved vision as soon as the next day.
