Humming Bird

Why are there thorns on Rose?
Why poetry smoother than prose?

Giving birth to nothing
Yet pain of infinity
Some born into everything
Whirlpool sucked me into poverty

Why some race ahead?
Why visions in my head?

Feel the rhythm of the universe
Eternity to evolve
Crying from birth to hearse
Around desires we revolve

Why the flowers so high?
Why forced to labor to eat pie?

Today shadows betray
Creation in disarray
Valves have fallen apart
Yet deeper than ocean my heart

Why no eyes in the back?
Why make bugs that attack?

Fluttering wings sing a song
Melody to the wise
Wandering concrete jungles a monk
Searching for an eluding eternal prize

Why the sun so strong?
Why create right and wrong?

The fluttering winds need a rest
Friends appear a haze
Is there an end to the test
Flowers morphed into a maze

Why the night came so soon?
Why darkness at noon?

A private conversation

A learned friend asked:If given a chance to converse with a man or woman dead or alive who would you choose?
A deep philosphical question.
Alexander on verge of world conquest, Mohammed Atta morning of 9/11, Neil Armstrong the day he landed on the moon, Buddha, an unkown happy person.
who would you choose?

World Trade Centers

On this day, 5 years ago i saw a plane hit WTC.
We shall never forget the brave firemen and policmen who showed immense courage.
We will always remember their sacrifice.
Good shall prevail over evil.
God Bless America or fore the atheists- may the force be with US.

Wegener's Granulomatosis

Wegener's granulomatosis can affect the eyes in several ways. People may develop
Conjunctivitis (inflammation of the conjunctiva, the inner lining of the eyelid)
Scleritis (inflammation of the scleral layer, the white part of the eyeball)
Episcleritis (inflammation of the episcleral layer, the outer surface of the sclera)
Mass lesion behind the eye globe
Symptoms in the eye include redness, burning, or pain. Double vision or a decrease in vision are serious symptoms requiring immediate medical attention.
Diagnostic Procedures:
• Blood chemistry tests and cell counts.• Analysis of urine, both chemistry and microscopic.• Imaging tests such as x-ray, MRI, and CT scan, which show lung infiltrates or nodules typical of granulomatosis or vascular tissue damage. • A CT virtual bronchoscopy can help identify stenosis and larynx problems. • Digital subtraction angiograpy (DSA) may be useful in identifying stenosis or other abnormalities caused by vasculitis.• Biopsy of the suspected granuloma and/or blood vessels or other affected tissues. • Biopsies may be required of tissues where there is persistent inflammation problems in one or more of the following organs, as listed below starting with the most frequent:

From the Harbor

Dear Doctor Khanna and staff,
It is day five now after my surgery.
And I am amazingly writing this on my computer without using glasses.
I can see peoples faces now and birds flying in the sky clearly like years ago.
While driving on the freeway, I can read the license plates on cars and signs clearly.
At night the glare is almost gone.
There is daily improvement as my eyes heal and I adjust to the eyes blending.
I want to thank you for your attention to detail and mastery of my eye surgery.
Also the wonderful experience of the confidence giving of a friendly knowledgeable staff was a comfort.

Happily seeing more clearly now,
Your client

Luggage at Heathrow

Changing planes on heathrow on august 11 was a nightmare.
Everyone was stressed ( I did not have to take the scheduled stress test ;)
The downside was luggage got misplaced-all since we were not allowed to caryy any in our hands.
So imagine landing in a foriegn land with no clothes, no toothbrush, no toothpaste...
Some people with contactlens were worse off as they could not carry their contact lens solutions.
On return they had LASIK.
Good to be back home.
