We received a call from our pilot patient. He was flying his helicopter and was amazed at how much better his vision was after LASIK. Now we have a glider pilot from simi valley. He is keen to be free from contact lenses while flying.

Futball vs football

Soccer is internationally known as football or futball. The shape of this ball is round like a basketball. this is how the eyeball should be. Whereas the NLF football(pigskin) is oval, similiar to an eye with astigmatism. The goal of astigmatism surgery is to convert football shaped eye to futball shaped eye.The goal of the game is to score a goal (or a touchdown).

world cup soccer- a different kind of ball

Just did surgery on a soccer coach who is from sweden. He was all excited to watch the world cup soccer through his new eyes.We used the latest iris registration technique along with wavefront and a thin flap.It was smooth like the play of the brazilians.

Safety with Iris registration

We need to highlight the fact that Iris registration increases the safety of delivering the laser to the correct person and the correct eye. In a busy practice human errors can be prevented. The wavefront obtains multiple points of registration from the Iris. The laser aligns to these points before beginnning the procedure.
Therefore relax and leave the surgery to us.

666 Omen

Once again, we are not much into numerology or mysticism. The only numbers our Los Angeles LASIK Institute places great emphasis are the numbers programmed into our laser. We check and cross check the numbers obtained by manual, automated and computerized methods and make sure they correlate.
Since your eyes are precious, these efforts are well worth the time and technology involved.20/20 or 20/15 or even 20/10 is what we are after-hollywood can go -
666 omen etc

Hispanic, Asian and Irish Register

Well,
we are apolitical, and have no comments whether the illegal immigrants should register. We however do care that the Iris (not Irish) be registered.
Iris registration enhances the safety and accuracy of wavefront guided LASIK.
Our center in Los Angeles has been happy with the results using Iris Registration and Customvue Visx wavefront with no cut LASIK.
