Claustrophobia

A few days ago I did SUPERLASIK on a well known radio personality at our westlase village LASIK Center. He was a young pleasant man, and jovial too. On the table we encountered a different personality. He became agitated and admitted to being claustrophobic. On questioning I was able to uncover the cause of the symptoms to an incident in childhood.
I wanted to help this man. So I used instant psychotherapy, with meditation to relax him. We had to keep moving him in and out from under the laser.
What was really rewarding that though it took longer, we were able to do a great job with accurate flaps and well centered laser ablation.
We treated his claustrophobia and correct his vision at the same time.
